Escape being Space Junk. Do This Instead.

A ROCKET LAUNCHES INTO ORBIT through a meticulously choreographed dance of engineering and physics.

A massive cylindrical vessel filled with highly volatile fuel, the rocket roars to life, unleashing an explosive force that propels it upward.

The rocket ascends and engages powerful boosters providing the necessary thrust to break the resistance of Earth’s gravity.

Finally, reaching its intended orbit, the rocket gently releases its payload (whether it be a satellite, spacecraft, or crewed vehicle) allowing it to glide gracefully into the vast expanse of space.

But, skimp at any stage and the result is space junk.

Think of your product brief as the boosters your product will need at launch. Rich data and insights are the fuel.

And, like gravity, the pull of mediocrity is strong. Only powerful briefs provide the lift to break its massive influence.

In my latest video, I use a case study to share three tactical steps for gathering the data you need for a powerful brief.

  • Step #1: Capture Observations

  • Step #2: Capture Experiences

  • Step #3: Capture Understanding

As more products compete for the same narrow band of mind space, don’t be space junk. Aim to reach higher with a better brief.
