When corporate America demands too much of us.

More focus.

We’re spread too thin, chasing too many things. Yet, much of corporate America demands even more efficiency.

Recent layoffs are a case in point. Frustrating.

Enough!

Let’s focus on what matters.

The 80/20 rule says that 80% of the value comes from 20% of the work. If remotely true, then most of what we do matters less.

Let’s invest our time, energy, and resources in the few things that make a difference—to us, our customers, and our world. And flywheel or cut the rest.

Whatever we do, let’s infuse it with more humanity. Let’s do it with care, with generosity, with empathy.

Let’s dig into why our customers buy from us, versus any number of competitive solutions.

Don’t let the noise knock you off course. Strive to create the best, give the best, and do the best for your customer.

Let go of the rest.

Because everything is interrelated, sustainability only profits through empathy.

Measure your impact by the lives you touch.

Go ahead, Focus.
